We take pride in our tradition of high-quality care and innovation. The establishment of DMUH is the continuation of a legacy of medical and academic achievements that began in 1986 with the founding of Dubai Medical College for Girls, the first medical college for women in the UAE and the Gulf region. This was followed by the opening of Dubai College of Pharmacy for Girls in 1991, and the inauguration of Dubai Specialist Medical Center and Research Laboratories in 1992.
